Javed Ali is an Indian playback singer whose discography spans over a hundred films and across all major film industries in the country. He made his playback singing debut in 2000 and came to public attention for the first time in 2008, when his rendition of the song Jashn-E-Bahaara in the historical romance film Jodhaa Akbar won him an IIFA Award for Best Male Playback Singer. Notable among his discography in Bollywood are A Wednesday (2008), Delhi-6 (2009), Rockstar (2011), Raanjhanaa (2013) and Raees (2017). Notable playback singing credits in other languages include Komaram Puli (2010), Irada Pakka (2010), Nanban (2012), Thuppakki (2012), Maryan (2013) and S3 (2017) and Yeh hai India. Ali has also won a Screen Award for Best Playback Singer (Male) for his rendition of the title track from the movie Ishaqzaade (2012). His other releases includes Neeya 2 and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari.
